I thought someone might like this image.

Obviously during haying, had a bale just outside the east end of the trailer where we lived and used it as a base. Had to go inside to set the camera and kill the light in the turnaround. Forget now what the time lapse was (around 30 to 45 seconds). Original is taller but it is just clear sky.

This is the standard size for xsplash/gdm images so it ought to auto fit as wallpaper too.

Just one of those beautiful clear nights we get here in Big Sky country. I couldn't resist trying to capture it. Very little tweeking with Gimp mainly to cut the glare from the moon. I will have to fool with it more someday when I know more about doing little pieces and see if I can replace the moon with a corrected image of it.

Taken in June of O8. Olympus E-500. Zoom lens. Remote control trigger. Organic "tripod".

Wow, those are very nice. I particularly like the second and forth ones.

Great work.

I was going through this thread looking for my menu background. A couple things got my attention.

There is a lot of art here.

It should be available.

I plumb forgot the Long Term Stoner images.

The last one made it all worth going through the whole damned thread.

I grabbed all, I think, images that were big enough to make a background. Does anyone else think I should put these in a .gz? There is about 3 gigs worth.

Some doesn't appeal to me at all but the ones that do to me probably don't to a lot of others. There is just an awful lot of effort shown here and some really fine work on a broad range of color and mood. Pretty impressive to me.

Oh my, now you are messing with us. Nice work.

I think that I am leaving out all but one or 2 of the backgrounds that come with Ubuntu. We have too much good stuff. Gotta leave something in there so folks with relatives can change it right off if they need to. After that they can get their own.
