I thought someone might like this image.
Obviously during haying, had a bale just outside the east end of the trailer where we lived and used it as a base. Had to go inside to set the camera and kill the light in the turnaround. Forget now what the time lapse was (around 30 to 45 seconds). Original is taller but it is just clear sky.
This is the standard size for xsplash/gdm images so it ought to auto fit as wallpaper too.
Just one of those beautiful clear nights we get here in Big Sky country. I couldn't resist trying to capture it. Very little tweeking with Gimp mainly to cut the glare from the moon. I will have to fool with it more someday when I know more about doing little pieces and see if I can replace the moon with a corrected image of it.
Taken in June of O8. Olympus E-500. Zoom lens. Remote control trigger. Organic "tripod".
